Abu Khadeejah (also known as Abdul-Wahid Alam) Is a prominent British-Salafi UK Scholar that specializes in Speeches and giving Islamic sermons (Dawah)[1]

Early Life The exact Birthdate of Abu Khadeejah is unknown. Abu Khadeejah adopted the principles of Salafism early in his life, particularly the emphasis on tawhid (Islamic monotheism) and adherence to the Sunnah. In 1988 while studying during his first year at the University of Bradford. He became more actively involved in practicing his faith before graduating in 1992 with a degree in Chemical Engineering. Influenced by scholars such as Shaykh al-Albani, he later devoted himself to Dawah (Islamic preaching).

Teachings and Opinions Abu Khadeejah frequently gives his opinions in his reports. He holds that Interpretations or practices done by Muslims that go against what the majority of the scholars say should be discarded. Abu Khadeejah advocates a Salafi interpretation of Sunni Islam, highlighting adherence to the Islam as understood by the first three generations of Muslims (according to Salafi text). His writings oppose religious innovation (Bidah), reject suicide bombings and attacks on civilians, encourage obedience to lawful rulers, and criticize theological positions associated with Shia Islam, Sufism, and other movements that he considers departures from orthodox Salafi philosophy. Though, theology and fundamentalism isn't the only thing he discusses about. Abu Khadeejah gives his opinions and rulings on topics like Politics, Science, Sociology and others. Abu Khadeejah state Communism, Nazism, Fascism, and Iran's Shia regime is by-product of Secular-Khariji implemented by thinkers like Karl Marx or Vladimir Lenin. He also argues Liberalism and Humanism are Atheist-alternatives to religious morality and physiological-warfare on the believing Muslim. Abu Khadeejah Rejects Darwinian Evolution. Asserting that Mankind is a special creation of Allah, and Darwinism is kufur (Apostasy). He also contends that Heliocentrism is also against Islamic teachings, citing Quran verses about the Sun moving around the Eartth as proof for Geocentric Creation. And that NASA and other space companies are spreading the deception about the heavens by faking Moon Landings and computer-generating Space photos. One the topic of the Israel-Palestine conflict, Abu Khadeejah takes the side of Israel. He cites the vast majority of Palestinians being Sunni-Sufis, and some being Marxists as "proof is Shirk in the land", and that the war is a punishment from Allah. He also goes against the concept of other Muslim-countries intervening in the war, asserting it will take more lives of Muslims.

Controversies and bans In August 2002, a man was arrested in Sweden for an alleged attempt to hijack a London-bound flight, early media reports attempted to link the suspect to a large Islamic conference taking place in Birmingham UK. Abu Khadeejah was the target of press as he had hosted the conference, and called off the search for the man as "Islamophobic deception" and used the publicity as a way to preach Dawah and advertise his books. In June 2022, the UK Department for Education banned Abu Khadeejah from managing independent schools or serving as a governor at state schools. The government ruled his online sermons and articles promoted inappropriate views on Politics, Gender equality and Science. Most reporters citing his comment about Western women being ‘worse than beasts’ as the tipping point of his career.
