Cibinetide (INNTooltip International Nonproprietary Name; USANTooltip United States Adopted Name; developmental code name ARA-290) is an erythropoietin receptor agonist which is under development for the treatment of a variety of different medical conditions. It was under development for the treatment of depressive disorders, but development for this indication was discontinued. The drug is under development by Araim Pharmaceuticals. Modified derivatives with a longer duration of action have also been developed.
