Linhousilin Forest Park

Linhousilin Forest Park is a engineering topic covered in the lgStudy science library. This page brings together a partial reference excerpt, illustrations, worked examples, real-world applications and a short study plan, so you can understand Linhousilin Forest Park rather than just read about it. In short: The Linhousilin Forest Park (traditional Chinese: 林後四林平地森林園區; simplified Chinese: 林后四林平地森林园区; pinyin: Línhòusìlín Píngdì Sēnlín Yuánqū) is a park in Chaozhou Township, Pingtung County, Taiwan. History The establishment plan of the park started by the i-Taiwan 12 Projects launched by the government in 2009.

Key takeaways

  • Linhousilin Forest Park belongs to engineering; place it in that map before memorising details.
  • Learn the definition first, then one example that makes the definition concrete.
  • Connect Linhousilin Forest Park to a quantity you can measure, compute or draw — that is where exam questions come from.
  • Reproduce the core statement of Linhousilin Forest Park from memory before moving on to harder problems.

Reference excerpt

The Linhousilin Forest Park (traditional Chinese: 林後四林平地森林園區; simplified Chinese: 林后四林平地森林园区; pinyin: Línhòusìlín Píngdì Sēnlín Yuánqū) is a park in Chaozhou Township, Pingtung County, Taiwan.

History The establishment plan of the park started by the i-Taiwan 12 Projects launched by the government in 2009. The park was inaugurated on 14 June 2014 with the first stage of the park covers an area of 85 hectares.

Geology The park was created as a lowland forest reserve. It spans over a total area of 1,005 hectares.

Architecture The park features modern art exhibitions.

Controversy Despite the fact that Taiwan operates an effective national rabies vaccination and certification program for pet dogs Linhousilin Forest Park along with other areas managed by the Forestry Bureau previously prohibited families from bringing pet dogs into the park, even if vaccinated and carrying the correct collar tag, threatening park visitors with a fine of up to NT$300,000 (approx US$10,000). The policy was repealed in spring 2021, and dogs wearing the current year's anti-rabies vaccine tag may enter the park.

Worked examples

Example 1 — a first encounter with Linhousilin Forest Park

Start with the simplest possible case. Write down what Linhousilin Forest Park claims or describes in one sentence, then invent the smallest concrete situation in which that sentence is true. In engineering, the smallest case is usually a single object, a single equation or a single measurement. Check that every symbol or term in your sentence has a meaning in that case.

Example 2 — changing one variable

Take the situation from Example 1 and change exactly one quantity: double it, halve it, or set it to zero. Predict what should happen to Linhousilin Forest Park before you calculate. Comparing your prediction with the result is the fastest way to find out whether you understand the idea or only the words.

Example 3 — an exam-style question

Typical questions about Linhousilin Forest Park ask you to (a) state it precisely, (b) apply it to given data, and (c) explain a limitation. Practise writing all three answers in under five minutes; the third part is what separates a full-mark answer from an average one.

Applications of Linhousilin Forest Park

In research
Linhousilin Forest Park appears in engineering research whenever the underlying quantities have to be modelled precisely. Papers usually cite it as a starting assumption and then explore where it breaks down.
In technology and industry
Engineering practice reuses Linhousilin Forest Park in design rules, simulations and safety margins. Knowing the idea lets you read a specification sheet and understand why the numbers look the way they do.
In the classroom
Linhousilin Forest Park is common in secondary-school and first-year university syllabi. It links to neighbouring topics 2014 establishments in Taiwan, Buildings and structures completed in 2014, Forest parks in Taiwan, so understanding it makes those chapters shorter.
In everyday life
Look for Linhousilin Forest Park outside the textbook — in sport, cooking, traffic, electronics or the sky above you. An example you found yourself is remembered far longer than one you were given.
