Key takeaways

  • Meinong Cultural and Creative Center belongs to engineering; place it in that map before memorising details.
  • Learn the definition first, then one example that makes the definition concrete.
  • Connect Meinong Cultural and Creative Center to a quantity you can measure, compute or draw — that is where exam questions come from.
  • Reproduce the core statement of Meinong Cultural and Creative Center from memory before moving on to harder problems.

Reference excerpt

The Meinong Cultural and Creative Center (traditional Chinese: 美濃文創中心; simplified Chinese: 美浓文创中心; pinyin: Měinóng Wénchuàng Zhōngxīn) is a multi-purpose park in Meinong District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

History The area used to be a police station building which was built in 1902 at the political and economical center of Meinong. The area was then converted into a cultural and creative center in 2015.

Architecture The former police building is a reinforced concrete building blend with wooden frame built with Baroque architecture style. In the front of the building are stucco washing finish and face bricks. On both sides of the entrance are the circular window while the sides of the gable roof are ornamented with clay decorations. Bay windows are installed at offices and the dormitory on both sides of the traverse to allow more daylight inside. The structure at the rare uses the Japanese-style dormitory, in which the foundation is elevated and a large siding door is installed on the exterior rear side. The building is currently used as the visitor center for the cultural and creative center. Other buildings in the center include a Japanese police dorm which is served as the center for young children. There are also the education, art and cultural hall which were constructed later on. Among all of the buildings is the Kaizhuang Square.

Worked examples

Example 1 — a first encounter with Meinong Cultural and Creative Center

Start with the simplest possible case. Write down what Meinong Cultural and Creative Center claims or describes in one sentence, then invent the smallest concrete situation in which that sentence is true. In engineering, the smallest case is usually a single object, a single equation or a single measurement. Check that every symbol or term in your sentence has a meaning in that case.

Example 2 — changing one variable

Take the situation from Example 1 and change exactly one quantity: double it, halve it, or set it to zero. Predict what should happen to Meinong Cultural and Creative Center before you calculate. Comparing your prediction with the result is the fastest way to find out whether you understand the idea or only the words.

Example 3 — an exam-style question

Typical questions about Meinong Cultural and Creative Center ask you to (a) state it precisely, (b) apply it to given data, and (c) explain a limitation. Practise writing all three answers in under five minutes; the third part is what separates a full-mark answer from an average one.

Applications of Meinong Cultural and Creative Center

In research
Meinong Cultural and Creative Center appears in engineering research whenever the underlying quantities have to be modelled precisely. Papers usually cite it as a starting assumption and then explore where it breaks down.
In technology and industry
Engineering practice reuses Meinong Cultural and Creative Center in design rules, simulations and safety margins. Knowing the idea lets you read a specification sheet and understand why the numbers look the way they do.
In the classroom
Meinong Cultural and Creative Center is common in secondary-school and first-year university syllabi. It links to neighbouring topics 2015 establishments in Taiwan, Arts centres in Kaohsiung, Baroque architecture in Kaohsiung, so understanding it makes those chapters shorter.
In everyday life
Look for Meinong Cultural and Creative Center outside the textbook — in sport, cooking, traffic, electronics or the sky above you. An example you found yourself is remembered far longer than one you were given.
