The head of the ministry is the Minister of Agriculture, appointed by decree of the President of Tajikistan. The current Minister of Agriculture since January 5, 2023 is Kurban Hakimzoda.

History As early as December 14, 1924, by the decision of the Revolutionary Committee of the Tajik Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, the People's Commissariat of Crops was established. The main task of the Commissariat was to organize agricultural affairs and establish collective farms, especially in relation to the mass collectivisation of agriculture and the Five Year Plan. On March 27, 1946, by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Tajik SSR, the People's Commissariat of Crops was divided into two independent ministries - the Ministry of Crops and the Ministry of Livestock. A year later, the two ministries were merged to form the Ministry of Agriculture. In 1953, the Ministry of Agriculture merged with the Ministry of Forestry to form the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Production. Then, in 1957, it merged with the Ministry of State Farms to form the Ministry of Agriculture. In 1962, it was renamed the Ministry of Agricultural Production and Processing, in 1985, the State Committee for Agro-Industry, in 1991, the Ministry of Agriculture, and in 2006, the Ministry of Agriculture and Nature Protection. Since 2008, it has been called the Ministry of Agriculture.

Worked examples

Example 1 — a first encounter with Ministry of Agriculture of Tajikistan

Start with the simplest possible case. Write down what Ministry of Agriculture of Tajikistan claims or describes in one sentence, then invent the smallest concrete situation in which that sentence is true. In science, the smallest case is usually a single object, a single equation or a single measurement. Check that every symbol or term in your sentence has a meaning in that case.

Example 2 — changing one variable

Take the situation from Example 1 and change exactly one quantity: double it, halve it, or set it to zero. Predict what should happen to Ministry of Agriculture of Tajikistan before you calculate. Comparing your prediction with the result is the fastest way to find out whether you understand the idea or only the words.

Example 3 — an exam-style question

Typical questions about Ministry of Agriculture of Tajikistan ask you to (a) state it precisely, (b) apply it to given data, and (c) explain a limitation. Practise writing all three answers in under five minutes; the third part is what separates a full-mark answer from an average one.

Applications of Ministry of Agriculture of Tajikistan

In research
Ministry of Agriculture of Tajikistan appears in science research whenever the underlying quantities have to be modelled precisely. Papers usually cite it as a starting assumption and then explore where it breaks down.
In technology and industry
Engineering practice reuses Ministry of Agriculture of Tajikistan in design rules, simulations and safety margins. Knowing the idea lets you read a specification sheet and understand why the numbers look the way they do.
In the classroom
Ministry of Agriculture of Tajikistan is common in secondary-school and first-year university syllabi. It links to neighbouring topics 1924 establishments in Tajikistan, Government ministries established in 1924, Government ministries of Tajikistan, so understanding it makes those chapters shorter.
