Her dissertation, Stabilité, domination, irrédondance et autres paramètres de graphes [Independence, domination, irredundance, and other parameters of graphs], was supervised by Jean-Claude Bermond.

Personal life Her father was poet and professor Georges Zink. Michel Zink and Anne Zink are her siblings.
