Phosphohydroxypyruvic acid

Phosphohydroxypyruvic acid is an organic acid most widely known as an intermediate in the synthesis of serine. It is produced from 3-phosphoglyceric acid by the action of the enzyme phosphoglycerate dehydrogenase.
