This led to ranges of 40 U/L in men and 30 U/L in women. This marker had low sensitivity and high specificity due to classification of individuals with subclinical disease counted as healthy controls. Revised model criteria led to a healthy range of 19 U/L in women and 30 U/L in men. This led to a 21.3% increase in sensitivity for an 8.9% decrease in specificity.
