Pseudolactococcus laudensis is a species of Gram-positive, coccoid, non-spore-forming, catalase-negative bacterium in the family Streptococcaceae. It was originally isolated from raw cow's milk collected in Val Trompia, Italy. The type strain is 4195T (= DSM 28961T = LMG 28353T = JCM 31965T). The species was originally described as Lactococcus laudensis in 2015. In 2025, genome-based phylogenetic analyses divided the genus Lactococcus into two genus-level lineages, and the species was transferred to the newly established genus Pseudolactococcus as Pseudolactococcus laudensis.
