Richard P.A.C. Newman

Richard P.A.C. Newman (1955–2000) was a physicist notable for his work in the area of cosmology and general relativity. He completed his PhD in 1979 at the University of Kent at Canterbury under G.C. McVittie with a thesis entitled Singular Perturbations of the Empty Robertson-Walker Cosmologies. He was a research fellow at the University of York 1984-1986. He died in 2000.
