Specifications and features The Galaxy Glasses are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 chip, with most processing offloaded to a paired smartphone running Android or iOS. The glasses include a 12-megapixel front-facing camera, microphones, and stereo speakers built into the temples, which also house a capture button and touch-sensitive surfaces for taps and swipes. For connectivity, they support Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. A privacy mode toggle is built into one of the arms. Samsung claims up to nine hours of battery life on a single charge under mixed use. The bundled carrying case doubles as a charger, providing up to seven additional full charges, and charges via USB-C. The glasses run Android XR and are built around Google Gemini, which uses the built-in camera to analyze the user's surroundings. Advertised features include answering questions, navigation, live translation, handling calls, music playback, photo and video capture, and capturing visual information such as whiteboards to be organized in Samsung Notes on a connected smartphone. The glasses integrate with other Galaxy ecosystem devices, and gesture controls are supported when paired with the Galaxy Watch 9 series or newer.
