The Tapar locality is a Late Miocene(Tortonian) pseudoconglomerate bed located in Kutch district of India, that is closely associated with Sandhan Formation. This bed is located next to Tapar Dam, and 8 km northeast of Community Health Center Dudhai. This bed has reports of several mammalian fossils that have correlation with Nagri Formation of Siwalik hills.
