  • Tennessee Governor's Task Force on Marijuana Eradication belongs to physics; place it in that map before memorising details.
  • Learn the definition first, then one example that makes the definition concrete.
  • Connect Tennessee Governor's Task Force on Marijuana Eradication to a quantity you can measure, compute or draw — that is where exam questions come from.
  • Reproduce the core statement of Tennessee Governor's Task Force on Marijuana Eradication from memory before moving on to harder problems.

Reference excerpt

The Tennessee Governor's Task Force on Marijuana Eradication (GTFME), a multi-agency law enforcement task force founded in 1983, is managed by the Office of the Governor of Tennessee composed of local, state agencies organized expressly to eradicate illegal cannabis cultivation and trafficking in Tennessee. The Governor's Task Force is operated by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's Tennessee Dangerous Drugs Task Force. The eradication season lasts from May through September in Tennessee, where outdoor marijuana cultivation ranks second in the United States, behind California. The task force, divided into three regional teams, East, Middle and West, centralized marijuana eradication in the state into a coordinated multi-agency program. The task force, created by then Tennessee Governor Lamar Alexander's Executive Order #51 in April 1983, originally included the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Tennessee National Guard, and the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency. A 2018 law removed the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission from the task force. The task force often uses helicopters, flown by the Tennessee Highway Patrol and Tennessee National Guard, for aerial surveillance of outdoor marijuana grow sites in rural eastern Tennessee.

Worked examples

Example 1 — a first encounter with Tennessee Governor's Task Force on Marijuana Eradication

Start with the simplest possible case. Write down what Tennessee Governor's Task Force on Marijuana Eradication claims or describes in one sentence, then invent the smallest concrete situation in which that sentence is true. In physics, the smallest case is usually a single object, a single equation or a single measurement. Check that every symbol or term in your sentence has a meaning in that case.

Example 2 — changing one variable

Take the situation from Example 1 and change exactly one quantity: double it, halve it, or set it to zero. Predict what should happen to Tennessee Governor's Task Force on Marijuana Eradication before you calculate. Comparing your prediction with the result is the fastest way to find out whether you understand the idea or only the words.

Example 3 — an exam-style question

Typical questions about Tennessee Governor's Task Force on Marijuana Eradication ask you to (a) state it precisely, (b) apply it to given data, and (c) explain a limitation. Practise writing all three answers in under five minutes; the third part is what separates a full-mark answer from an average one.

Applications of Tennessee Governor's Task Force on Marijuana Eradication

In research
Tennessee Governor's Task Force on Marijuana Eradication appears in physics research whenever the underlying quantities have to be modelled precisely. Papers usually cite it as a starting assumption and then explore where it breaks down.
In technology and industry
Engineering practice reuses Tennessee Governor's Task Force on Marijuana Eradication in design rules, simulations and safety margins. Knowing the idea lets you read a specification sheet and understand why the numbers look the way they do.
In the classroom
Tennessee Governor's Task Force on Marijuana Eradication is common in secondary-school and first-year university syllabi. It links to neighbouring topics 1983 establishments in Tennessee, 1983 in cannabis, American organizations established in 1983, so understanding it makes those chapters shorter.
In everyday life
Look for Tennessee Governor's Task Force on Marijuana Eradication outside the textbook — in sport, cooking, traffic, electronics or the sky above you. An example you found yourself is remembered far longer than one you were given.
