Water Snake (Chinese: 癸巳; pinyin: guǐsì) is the 30th combination of the sexagenary cycle of the Chinese zodiac. It is preceded by Water Dragon and followed by Wood Horse. In the traditional correspondence of the Heavenly Stems with the Five Phases, guǐ (癸) represents yin and Water, while the Earthly Branch sì (巳) corresponds to the Snake zodiac.
